<p>I am sure that if you have been reading this series of articles that follow <a href = "http://www.LifeStyleFreedomClub.com/cmd.php?af=1039353" title = "Lifestyle Freedom Club" target = "blank">210 Day Lifestyle Freedom Club Affirmation Challenge</a> that I am involved in and blogging about, you are now fully aware that you were born for a purpose. </p>
<p>This purpose is also often known as your WHY. </p>
<p>There is nothing in this life that can compare with the satisfaction and fulfillment of achieving your WHY. </p>
<p>You might be asking: why then do more people not dedicate their lives to this purpose. Why is it that so many people seem to be wandering through this life aimlessly?</p>
<p><strong>These are good questions.</strong> The answers to both of these questions is that there IS an enemy in this world who&#8217;s task it is to stop you from making a positive difference. Obviously this enemy is the total opposite of good and all that is positive. His tactics include fear and distractions. Achieving your why does not happen automatically. </p>
<div class = "topiccent">It takes discipline, determination, training, specific action plans and strategic action.</div>
<p>Today we are looking at affirmation #108 in the series of affirmations mentioned above. </p>

<h3>I am Eliminating ALL Distractions Now<br />
in my life to ultimately live my Why</h3>
</div>
<p>I am presently reading an excellent book by Orison S. Marden, entitled &#8220;Pushing To The Front&#8221; and I came across a very interesting fact. </p>
<blockquote><p>If we go into a factory where the mariner&#8217;s compass is made we can see the needles before they are magnitized. They will point in any direction. </p>
<p>But when they have been applied to the magnet and received its peculiar power, from that moment they point to the north, and are true to the pole ever after. </p>
<p>So man never points steadily in any direction until he has been polarized by a great master purpose. </p></blockquote>
<p>This is an outstanding illustration. Your life will point in any direction UNTIL you have been polarized by a great master purpose. </p>
<p>This purpose is already in your heart. You need to find it (<a href ="http://www.LifeStyleFreedomClub.com/cmd.php?Clk=3838682" title = "Find Your Why Now" target = "blank"><strong><em>Find Your Why Now</em></strong></a>), decide to pay the price and follow it. This will include eliminating all distractions as you point your life in the one direction. </p>
<p>The illustration in the slide (shown above) I used for this affirmation also shows the need for steady focus. Any distractions as you take aim at a bullseye will inevitable cause you to miss the mark!</p>

You can certainly take a look at where you are in life now, and answer the following question:</p>
<p>What have my daily habits guaranteed so far? <strong>The answer is:</strong> They have brought me to where I am today. </p>
<p><strong>Now the question is:</strong> Do you really want to be where you are today?</p>
<p><strong>There are really three possible answers to this above question. </strong><br />
<strong>1. No, because I am not YET</strong> at my destination, but I AM on the way. I am diligently and consistently developing myself AND I am taking daily action that is leading me step by step towards achieving my dream. </p>
<p><strong>2. No, I am not even close</strong> to where I really want to be. In fact I am not even sure that I am going in the right direction. </p>
<p><strong>3. Yes, I am EXACTLY</strong> where I want to be right now, and I am enjoying every second of my life today. </p>
<p>Now, which of these three answers best fits where you are at right now? </p>
<p>If your answer is either number 1 or 3, you will be able to declare today&#8217;s affirmation with great certainty.</p>

<p>If you choose answer number 2 to the question: do you REALLY want to be where you are today, here is some great news. You CAN change that. How?</p>
<ol>
<li>Face the fact that your daily habits so far have brought you to where you are today. In other words, take responsibility for your life.<br />
<br/></li>
<li>Make sure you know where you want to go. Have you found your WHY in life? Make sure you listen to this CD <a href ="http://www.LifeStyleFreedomClub.com/cmd.php?Clk=3838682" title = "Find Your Why Now" target = "blank"><strong><em>Find Your Why Now</em></strong></a> Order it TODAY!<br />

<li>Ask yourself, what daily habits do I need to change? Remember there is a price to success. There may be some sacrifices you will need to make.<br />

For example: </strong>no more of your favorite TV programs. Instead you will spend the time listening to and watching audios and videos that will inspire you and train you to develop yourself and your skills. </p>
<p>Does this mean 100% NO TV at all? Maybe, maybe not. You set the priorities. It WILL mean a change in the programs you watch. No more diets of negative, depressing programs that are created for losers. You are a champion. </p>
<p>Here is a great test for any program you may have doubts about. Ask yourself: If I were training for an Olympic Gold medal, would I spend my time watching this? Mmm. <br/></li>
<li>Write down your &#8220;WHY&#8221; on an index card and read it aloud every day. This will help you to stay focused on your life purpose and your dreams.<br />
<br/></li>
<li>Spend <strong>at least</strong> 30 minutes a day listening to good positive inspirational audios. Read at least 10 pages a day from a good motivational book.<br />
<br/></li>
<li>Take some time on a regular basis to dream and let your dream grow. Write down the new parts of you dream and other thoughts in your journal. Create a poster or dream board with photos that represent your dreams. Place it in a place where you will see it many times every day.<br />
<br/></li>
<li>Declare today&#8217;s affirmation every day. </li>
</ol>

<p>If you have not been used to keeping a journal, here are some of the many advantages you will find once you get started. Writing things down helps to:</p>
<ol>
<li>Clear and unclutter the mind. Sometimes we cannot think straight because our minds are too full of multitudes of things we are trying to deal with all at once. <br/><br />
Writing things down, whether it be a to do list, goals, or problems to solve helps to give ourselves permission to deal with one thing at a time, while temporarily forgetting the rest.<br/><br/></li>
<li>Make decisions. Writing down the pros and cons of a situation and being able to actually see them in black and white can helping greatly in sorting things out to make the right decision. <br/><br/>Once that decision is made, write it down!<br/><br/></li>
<li>Solidify your goals and decisions. There is nothing like having something written down in black and white to wipe away any indecision. <br/><br/></li>
<li>Make you think about your decisions. When you see something in black and white, it becomes more real and is a great time to rethink your decisions if needed before you start acting.<br/><br/></li>
<li>Keep yourself accountable. It is also good to make yourself accountable to a trusted friend, but in the end it is YOUR decision as to whether you plan on doing what is necessary to reach your goals or not.<br/><br />
When you have written down your decisions it is harder to give yourself &#8220;permission&#8221; to ignore them or put off acting on them. <br/><br/></li>
<li>Gives you something to look back on when things get tough or you get discouraged. Your journal should also have all the triumphant experiences written down. These will serve to keep you encouraged when difficult circumstances cross your path.</li>
</ol>
