<p><strong>There is one thing you can be sure of.</strong> I guarantee that where fear reigns in your life, so does failure and frustration. </p>
<ul>
<li>Fear paralyzes your mind.</li>
<li>Fear destroys your faith. </li>
<li>Fear destroys <strong>your hope and your vision. </strong></li>
</ul>
<p>The wisest man who ever lived said: <strong><em>Without a <strong>vision</strong> the people perish. </em></strong></p>
<p align="center"><strong>Yes, without hope and a vision, you will in many ways (if not literally), lie down and die.</strong> </p>
<p>So we have established that the biggest obstacle to your success and achieving your life purpose is fear. </p>
<p align="center"><strong>Knowing</strong> your enemy is definitely the first step towards <strong>conquering</strong> your enemy. </p>
<p align="left">You cannot hit a target when you don’t know where it is right? And what is our target? <strong>Fear.</strong></p>
<p align="left">Now that you know what your biggest obstacle is you <strong>CAN</strong> conquer it. </p>
<p align="left">I am sure that you already know that every positive change in your lives starts with a <strong>DECISION.</strong> </p>
<p align="left">This is why today’s affirmation of the Lifestyle Freedom Club’s<strong> 210 Affirmation Challenge</strong> that we are following is so important.</p>
<p align="left"><strong>Affirmation #156 declares:</strong></p>

<p align = "left">Today&#8217;s affirmation is a declaration of your <strong>DECISION. </strong>You are deciding that fear will no longer reign over your life. Be sure to make this declaration out loud with boldness and conviction. Repeat this several times during your day.</p>
<p><strong>Today&#8217;s Challenge &#8211; Actions Steps To Take:</strong> (This will help you to follow through on your decision). </p>
<ol>
<li>Take some time to sit down and reflect on in what ways fear has been hindering your progress. Write these down in your journal. </li>
<li>Now read at least 10 pages of the inspirational or motivational book you are reading that the moment. If you are not reading such a book, I highly recommend you start with the book of Proverbs or Psalms in the Bible, Pushing to the Front by Orison Swett, <a href="http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/1416549765/ref=as_li_qf_sp_asin_tl?ie=UTF8&#038;tag=howtosuconl08-20&#038;linkCode=as2&#038;camp=217145&#038;creative=399377&#038;creativeASIN=1416549765">The Everyday Visionary: Focus Your Thoughts, Change Your Life</a> by Jesse Du Plantis or <a href = "http://www.LifeStyleFreedomClub.com/cmd.php?Clk=3202615" title = "Champions Are Born" target = "blank">Champions Are Born, Losers Are Made</a> by John Di Lemme.</li>
<li>Write down some positive actions steps you can make to conquer any fears you have detected in your life (inspired by what you have read).</il>
<li>Now here is where the &#8220;rubber meets the road&#8221;. It is time to take action. You have made a decision to conquer fear, you have detected some areas of fear, you have found some tips to conquer these areas, you have decided on some actions steps &#8211; now take the action!!</li>

<li>Do you feel you are striving to keep a positive mindset, but your mind seems set on staying with the negative?<br/><br/></li>
<li>Do you find yourself dreaming of living in the positive realm of success, freedom and happiness, yet you just can’t quite seem to break into that realm?<br/><br/></li>
<li>Do you find yourself longing to experience a genuinely open communication with your family and friends, yet are constantly faced with bewildering barriers and obstacles?</li>
</ul>
<p>I am sure that you have heard many successful people say: </p>
<p align="center"><em><strong>You have to </strong></em><em><strong>get out of your comfort zone to succeed. </strong></em></p>
<p>Yes, this is one <strong>huge key</strong> to turning your mind around and being able to experience a positive mindset.</p>
<p align="center"><strong>A positive mindset is the key to being able to enjoy positive living.</strong> </p>
<p>Positive living means you are able to enjoy health, positive relationships, a positive mindset and a positive bank account. However you cannot create a positive mindset when you allow yourself to stay in life’s default mode, which is always negative. </p>
<p align="center"><strong>You have to step outside of this box.</strong></p>
<p>Your journey towards being able to enjoy this positive, successful&#160; living in every sense of the phrase really does not start <strong>UNTIL</strong> you take action and step out of your comfort zone. </p>
<p>The affirmation #147 of the 210 Day Affirmation Challenge that we are looking at in this series of articles is the exact declaration you need to make today to get started with your decision AND your action:</p>
<h3 align="center">I am accepting my challenges each day to Explode </h3>
<h3 align="center">out of my comfort zone</h3>
<p align="left"><strong>Explode out of your comfort zone:</strong></p>
<p align="left">This affirmation is the challenge your mind needs to follow when you are faced with obstacles and difficulties in life. <strong>You need these obstacles</strong>. What? you might be thinking, I NEED obstacles?</p>
<p align="left">Notice the wording of today’s affirmation. I am accepting my challenges <strong>each day to Explode out of my comfort zone.</strong> When you decide to use each day’s challenge, instead of them using you, you use them. You will use them to strengthen your “wings” and rise up and conquer.&#160; </p>
<p align="left">You will <strong>&#160;</strong>find yourself pushing your way out of your comfort zone into victory over every negative influence in your life. In the same way the caterpillar needs the struggle that it takes to push its way into a new life, you also need your struggle.</p>
<p align="center">&#160;<strong>It is the struggle that strengthens the caterpillar so that it can fly.</strong></p>
<p align="left"> It is your struggle that will strengthen your “wings” so that you too can fly into that positive realm of life and you will be able to confront every challenge with a positive mindset that is always focused on solutions. </p>

<p align="left">Once your mind is more focused on the positive realm of life, you will be amazed at how much easier it will be to understand your family and friends. You will also be amazed at how positive they are becoming. </p>
<p align="left"><strong>Why is this?</strong> Your mindset is setting the atmosphere for positive living and this affects everyone around you. </p>
<p align="left"><strong>Today’s Challenge</strong>:</p>
<p align="left"> There is an extra secret that will give you an inside advantage to being able to enjoy positive living in an extra special way. What is this secret? </p>

<div align="left">Go and find your Bible and take some time to read the 10th chapter of the Gospel of John. </div>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>When you have created a true mindset for living you will be <strong><em>actively involved</em></strong> in everything you do. Now this may seem to be a strange comment.</p>

<p>Absolutely!</p>
<p>Many people spend their days on this planet involved in so many tasks and projects, but they are rarely ever ACTIVELY involved in what much of what they are doing.</p>
<h2><strong>The Passive Person:</strong></h2>
<p>A passive person is simply a bystander of life. He or she watches life and the world go by while dreaming of better days. The passive person has usually become resigned to their lifestyle which they don&#8217;t enjoy but simply put up with.</p>
<p>They get their &#8220;buzz&#8221; from dreaming of the day when their circumstances will magically change. Passive people tend to scoff at the idea of having a real purpose and goals for their lives. Consequently they never have any defined idea of what they really want in life. </p>
<p>Making dreams become a reality is not a part of the mindset of a very passive person. Such folk do not have a mindset for living, because they are not really living. They are simply existing.</p>
<h2><strong>The Active Person:</strong></h2>
<p><img src="http://mindsetforliving.com/images/activedog.jpg" alt="Active Dog" align="right" /><strong>What does it mean to be actively involved?</strong></p>
<ol>
<li>When you are actively involved in something it means your project has your complete attention and you have more than one of your five senses occupied.
<p><strong>Note:</strong> This does not mean you will be obsessed with your project to the exclusion of other important things in life. It simply means that while you are working on your task, you will be fully involved</li>
<li> You will have a clear vision of where you are going because you have set goals and created a work plan for each day. Consequently your attitude will always be full of expectancy.<br />
<br/></li>
<li> Everything you involve yourself in will lead to the fulfillment of your dreams, because that is what you expect to happen. Your goals and daily work plan will help you fulfill your dreams as you follow your plan of action each day.<br />
<br/></li>
<li> Difficulties and obstacles will cross your path of course since these are a part of life. However because you have a purpose and direction, you will soon find a way to turn any difficulty into a new opportunity.
<p>When your focus is fixed on your purpose it will be easier to see the bigger picture when difficult things happen.</p>
<p>When your mind is active it is easier to creatively seek solutions to obstacles.</li>
<li> An active person is always interested in learning new things. They are genuinely interested in the world and the people around them. They seek to be actively involved in everything they do. Their minds are most always active.</li>
</ol>
<p>As you read through this post, you may have discovered an area of your life that is still a little passive. </p>

Overcoming obstacles and solving problems will obviously take a new pattern of thinking. It is a scientifically proven fact that before we do anything we first plan it in our minds. 

This means you are either planning to overcome obstacles or you are planning to allow obstacles to defeat you. As crazy as this may sound, it is true.

You may even be secretly planning to allow obstacles to force you to change your plans and even your goals. This is a subject for another post (and we will certainly address that in the near future).

The key here would be to ask yourself: 
"Do I <strong>REALLY </strong>want what I say I want? or 
"Do I <strong>REALLY </strong>want to do what I say I want to do?"]]></description>

<p>If you are going to succeed in overcoming obstacles, the first thing to do is to change your thinking. In the last post we looked at <a href="http://mindsetforliving.com/overcoming-obstacles-with-a-well-trained-mind" title="Overcoming Obstacles With A Well Trained Mind" target="blank">3 things you can do</a> that will help you get started creating a positive change in your mindset.</p>
<p><strong>These three things are:</strong><br />
1. Meditate every day on something inspirational and motivational.<br />
2. Be alert to your own thoughts. (Are your thinking patterns positive or negative?)<br />
3. Forgive (VERY important)</p>
<blockquote><p>Now let&#8217;s get something straight: you can&#8217;t develop a winning mindset using a magical formula! Life does not work like that.</p>
<p>It takes <strong>DETERMINATION</strong> which is expressed by <strong>EFFORT</strong> and <strong>FOCUSED PRACTICE</strong>.</p></blockquote>
<p><span>Here are 3 things you can consciously practice that will guarantee to change your mindset into a Mindset for Success.</span></p>
<h3><strong>1. Practise looking for the solution.</strong></h3>
<p>As soon as an obstacle crosses your path:</p>
<ul>
<li>Stop and take a deep breath.</li>
<li>Refocus your mind (you have just been overwhelmed by some news or by something you heard or saw).</li>
<li>Consciously start thinking about the solution (not the problem).</li>
</ul>
<p style="text-align: center;">Remember every problem has a solution.</p>
<h3><strong>2. Practice looking beyond the immediate situation.</strong></h3>
<p>The obstacle in front of you can often cloud your thinking and cause you to forget the bigger picture. What are your goals and aspirations in life again?</p>
<blockquote><p>Remember the bigger your goals, the bigger the obstacles you may have to jump over. They are designed to make you stronger and prepare you to both handle and enjoy the success you pursue.</p></blockquote>
<h3><strong>3. Practice expecting to conquer.</strong></h3>
<p><a href="http://www.twitter.com/home?status=http://www.mindsetforliving.com/how-determined-are-you-to-overcome-obstacles+Rdg+about+how+to+train+my+mind+to+overcome+obstacles" class="c2" title="tweet this"><img src="http://www.mindsetforliving.com/images/tweet.jpg" alt="Tweet this" align="left"></a>A man or woman who always <strong>EXPECTS</strong> to conquer <strong>WILL</strong> conquer.  You WILL receive what you expect to receive.</p>
<p>It&#8217;s a good idea to check out what is REALLY in your mind when you set out on a new venture. In other words, what is your mindset?</p>
<p><strong><em>In the depths of your heart you may be thinking:</em></strong></p>
<ul>
<li>I will give it a go, if it fails at least I tried.</li>
<li>I plan on giving it my best shot.</li>
<li>I will give it a decent period of time, if it does not work out, I will try something else.</li>
<li>I think this may work.</li>
<li>I sure hope this will work.</li>
<li>I am counting on this to work.</li>
<li>I <strong>WILL</strong> find the way to reach my goals, no matter what!</li>
</ul>
<p>All of these thoughts express an attitude that is in your heart towards what you are setting out to do. However only one of these thoughts is really positive.</p>
<blockquote><p>What was Edison&#8217;s attitude again? <strong><em>&#8220;I have not failed. I&#8217;ve just found 10,000 ways that won&#8217;t work.&#8221;</em></strong> Which one of the above listed thoughts best describes Edison&#8217;s mindset?</p>
<p>He won! Will you win? It depends on your mindset (or your attitude).</p></blockquote>
