<p><em><strong>I am sure you are very familiar with the concept</strong></em> of the glass that is half empty or half full. It is all in the way you perceive things right? </p>
<p>There is no doubt that a grateful person will always see the glass as being half full! </p>
<p>Do you know the medical field is now recognizing that your mental attitude has a tremendous affect on your physical well being. </p>
<p><strong>You have doubtless heard that expression:</strong> <em>“worrying myself sick”</em> right? Well actually that is a true statement. If you really want to get sick, focus on the negative. Your body will follow. </p>
<p>In the same way when you focus on the positive side of life, your mind will be clear to search for solutions and your body has a better chance of staying at ease. A body that is at ease certainly has a better change of healing itself. After all the word sick is also “disease” – dis – ease (in other words: not at ease). Interesting?</p>

<p><strong>Getting Well Again </strong></p>
<p>This is a book I really recommend you read. It is written by a team of medical doctors who share some of their experiences with their patients. </p>
<p>  <strong>They encouraged their patients to:</strong>
<ul>
<li> Focus on positive thoughts</li>
<li>Visualize their healing. This includes visualizing the cancer cells being gobbled up by the medication (or natural foods too – my comment).</li>
<li>Even plan and set goals for the future they were being told they did not have. </li>
</ul>
<p>The results were amazing. There were many improvements and even recoveries as a result of this therapy. <p><strong>How to stay positive when your world is falling apart:</strong></p>
<p>There is nothing like deliberately looking for things to be thankful for to turn your focus from negative to positive. Here is a challenge for you today:</p>
<p><strong>Start by</strong> declaring affirmation #145 of the 210 Day Affirmation Challenge that this series of articles is being written about. </p>
<p>Repeat this several times out loud and with great firmness. Your brain needs to know that <strong>YOU</strong> are mean business. You will not tolerate any negative attitude creeping into your life right?</p>

<p><strong>Next:</strong></p>
<ol>
<li>Take some time to sit down and think about at least 5 or better still 10 things that you are grateful for in your life. Don’t forget the simple things like food, shelter, health – and hey you are alive!!</li>
<li>Now write these 10 things down in your journal. </li>
<li>Now take some time to read them out aloud (yes your brain needs to hear these too) and finish up by once again making this declaration:</li>

<p>   Note the change in your outlook. I am sure that your focus is turning away from the negative towards the positive. Now your mind will be freer to be creative and look for solutions for any challenge you may be facing.

<p>Actually all 4 of these hindrances can be summarized with word, and that word is fear. </p>
<p><strong>Let&#8217;s think about it for a second:</strong></p>
<p><strong>What creates doubt in your mind?</strong> Fear.<br />
Fear will make you doubt any decisions you make. Fear will make you doubt your ability to face a challenge and win or to carry out a task you have never done before. </p>
<p><strong>What causes you to procrastinate?</strong> Fear.<br />
You may fear that you may the wrong choice, so you delay taking action on your decision &#8220;just to make sure that the decision was the right one&#8221;. You may fear that that action you plan on taking may offend someone or cause a reaction you may fear facing. You get the picture right?</p>
<p><strong>What causes you to have low self-belief? </strong>Here is a question for you:<br />
Which matters more to you, what others think about you? Or what you have in your heart (your dreams and goals in life). </p>
<p>Yes, outside of God Himself, the only person who really knows what is in your heart is YOU. (And I DO highly recommend seeking God&#8217;s help and support in everything you do in life, and planting your faith first and foremost in Him and His Son). </p>
<p>The affirmation from the Lifestyle Freedom Club&#8217;s 210 Day Affirmation Challenge that we are looking at today is affirmation #136:</p>

<h3>I am free of fear, doubt, procrastination and low self-belief NOW</h3>
</div>
<p>(See the foot of this article for more details about this challenge). </p>
<p>This affirmation addresses all four of these negative hindrances, which we have already determined may actually be summed up in one word &#8211; FEAR. </p>
<p><strong>Today&#8217;s Challenge:</strong><br />
Take some time to reflect on your daily habits and ask yourself these questions: </p>
<ul>
<li>Is fear driving my life in any area?</li>
<li>How many of these four attitudes are affecting my life and in which areas?</li>
<li>What do I plan to do about it?</li>
</ul>
<p>Now take your journal, note or sheet of paper where you have written down today&#8217;s affirmation and declare it 5 times with a bold, strong voice. </p>
<p>Then declare it 7 times, in fact if you dare, continue to declare it until you sense a change in your present state. Do you feel bolder? More sure of yourself. </p>
<p>Good. Now take the action you wrote down in response to the question above: What do I plan to do about it?</p>

<p>You were born a champion. You are destined to championship, but nevertheless it is not something that will happen in your life automatically. </p>
<p><strong>You decide your destiny. </strong>You decide whether you take the high road in life (to reach your highest potential) or the low easy road and end up bitter and frustrated. </p>
<p>The title of this article is &#8220;Champions Train to Win&#8221;, and that is exactly what they do. They never train to come second right?</p>
<p>Today we are looking at affirmation #124 of John Di Lemme&#8217;s  210 Day Lifestyle Freedom Club Affirmation Challenge that I am involved in and blogging about. (See note in &#8220;Resources&#8221; below for more information). </p>

<li>This is the only way you can stay ahead of the competition.

<li>This is the only way you can stay fit mentally, emotionally and physically in this negatively contaminated world. >li></ul>
<p>When you win a championship it means that you have reached a potential that is higher than your competitors ability. That will not happen automatically right? </p>
<p>No it will take hours of persistent, dedicated, disciplined, daily training.<br />

Champions are laser focused on their goals.</strong></p>
<p>How can you stay laser focused on your dreams and goals?</p>
<ul>
<li>First of all, you need to be totally immersed in a proven personal development plan every day. </li>
<li>
Secondly you need to be totally immersed in your goals and dreams and the strategic actions you are taking towards fulfilling them. </li>

<p><strong>Why is this so important?</strong></p>
<p>I could not have explained this better than Darren Hardy who said:<strong><em> Your brain is always trying to align your outer world with what you are seeing and expecting in your inner world.</em></strong> (<a href = "http://darrenhardy.success.com/2010/12/goal-achieving-really/" title = "Goal Achieving Reality" target = "blank">Darren Hardy, publisher of Success Magazine</a>. <p>So let&#8217;s apply this to who or what you are listening to. </p>
<p>If you spend your days listening to the naysayers and the complainers, what will you end up expecting to receive? Not something you REALLY want right?</p>
<p>Today we are looking at Affirmation #104 of the <a href = "http://www.LifeStyleFreedomClub.com/cmd.php?af=1039353" title = "Lifestyle Freedom Club" target = "blank">210 Day Lifestyle Freedom Club Affirmation Challenge</a> that I am involved in and blogging about. </p>
<p>Affirmation #104 is a simple yet profound statement:</p>

<p>Why is this so profound? Because when you ARE listening to your dream daily, your brain is receiving the <strong>right message. </strong></p>
<p><strong>The right message:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Expect opportunities that will help you achieve your dream.
</li>
<li>Avoid the traps and detours that will take you away from you dream.
</li>
<li>Don&#8217;t chase those shiny objects that will make you lose focus. Stay focused!</li>
</ul>
<div class = "topiccent">Stay focused on your dream. &#8220;See&#8221; it every day (in your mind&#8217;s eye),<br />
and you will soon SEE it happening in the outer world. </div>

<li>Take some time today to stop and reflect.
</li>
<li>Ask yourself this question: who and/or what am I listening to?
</li>
<li>Be honest with your answers, and note them in your journal.
</li>
<li>Make a note of some actions you may need to take to realign your focus.
</li>
<li>Make a decision to focus on your dreams daily. </li>
</ul>

<strong><br />
In the last article we looked at a similar question:</strong> What is driving your life? </p>
<p>We came to the conclusion that you are either driven by faith or by fear. It depends on your focus. (Today&#8217;s question and yesterday&#8217;s question are knitted together). </p>
<p>When the main focus of your life is your life purpose (or <a href ="http://www.LifeStyleFreedomClub.com/cmd.php?Clk=3838682" title = "Find Your Why Now" target = "blank">your WHY</a>), then you will be inspired to build your faith. Consequently your life will be driven by faith. </p>
<ul>
<li>You have a reason to develop yourself and your skills.
</li>
<li>You have a reason to train hard.
</li>
<li>You have a reason to work hard.
</li>
<li>You have a reason to never give up. </li>
</ul>
<p>This is why your life purpose is also known as your &#8220;WHY&#8221;. It is the reason you do what you do. </p>
<p>However if your main focus is not clear it will be difficult for you to define your purpose in life or what you really want in life (your dreams and goals). This will result in your life being a candidate to be driven by fear. </p>
<p><strong>Today we are looking at Day 101</strong> of following the <a href ="http://www.LifeStyleFreedomClub.com/cmd.php?af=1039353" title = "Lifestyle Freedom Club" target = "blank">210 Day Lifestyle Freedom Club Affirmation Challenge</a> that I am involved in and blogging about. Affirmation #101 reinforces your focus on your life purpose and consequently will help you ensure that your life is being driven by faith. </p>

<h3>I am solely guided by Achieving my Why Now</h3>
</div>
<p>This is definitely a declaration of certainty and unwavering focus. As you make this declaration every day (along with the other affirmations that you have been collecting up until now) your focus will become clearer and stronger in your mind. </p>
<ul>
<li>Consequently your faith will increase.
</li>
<li>Opportunities will suddenly cross your path. (You have become more alert to see and recognize these opportunities because of the strength of your focus). </li.</ul>

<p><strong>Today&#8217;s Challenge:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Make sure that your life purpose is clear in your mind.
</li>
<li>Make sure that you are declaring your life purpose out loud every day. This will help you to keep your focus clear and strong. </li>
<li>
Write down your WHY on a index card and read it out loud every morning and every evening. </li>
</ul>
