<p><em><strong>If you are not making mistakes then you are not doing anything</strong> says John Wooden</em>. Many other highly successful men and women have been heard to say the very same thing. </p>
<p><strong>Yes, making mistakes are a part of life and learning.</strong> You and I learn from doing things and getting results. In general terms:</p>
<ul>
<li><strong>Positive results</strong> teach you that you probably did something right. You found a good way to get the result you wanted.</li>
<li><strong>Negative results</strong> teach you that something went wrong. You made a mistake, or what you were trying to do did not work. </li>
</ul>
<p>Usually when make a mistake with small consequences it is easy to brush it off and learn from it right? But what about the big mistakes in life. Everyone makes those too. They are not so easy to brush off.</p>
<p>In fact this is where too many people get stuck. Why?</p>
<p>There are at least three big dangers you may face after making a wrong decision that has big consequences:</p>
<ul>
<li>You may feel as if you are the only one who would be capable of doing something that stupid. This happens so easily when you make a mistake that was at least in part your fault, and it caused a big problem.<strong><em> So you may tend to withdraw from those around you.</em></strong><br/><br/></li>
<li><strong><em>You may even begin to fear making mistakes and so you find making decisions to be difficult.</em></strong> <strong>Warning:</strong> If you fall for this one, it will paralyze you and stop you from moving forward in life. </li>
</ul>
<blockquote><p>Elbert Hubbard is quoted as saying: The greatest <em>mistake</em> you can make in life is to be continually fearing you will make one. </p>
</blockquote>
<ul>
<li>You may simply shrug it off and move on. But what did you learn? <strong>Actually this attitude tends to be one of denial. </strong></li>
</ul>
<p align="center"><strong>Any one of these dangers may cause you to get stuck in your life journey. </strong></p>
<p align="left">In this series of articles we are following the <a href = "http://www.LifeStyleFreedomClub.com/cmd.php?af=1039353" title = "Lifestyle Freedom Club" target = "blank">210 Day Affirmation Challenge</a> made by John Di Lemme of Lifestyle Freedom Club. Today’s affirmation is #152 which declares:</p>
<h3 align="center">I am Making Miracles out of my past mistakes.</h3>
<p><strong>Yes you CAN turn your mistakes into miracles. </strong></p>
<p>Notice I said: “YOU can turn your mistakes into miracles. It won’t happen by itself. There is no “if I ignore this problem it will go away”. No, you cannot be passive about it. </p>
<p>If you think about the three dangers listed above, all of them are passive reactions. So let’s react actively. How? By facing them head these dangers head on and turning them around. You can do it!</p>
<p align="center"><strong>You have to take action.</strong> Remember, the real danger is summed up in one word “passivity”. </p>
<p align="left"><strong>How to create miracles from your mistakes:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li><strong>Stop,</strong> take some time alone to gather your thoughts. <br/><br/></li>
<li><strong>Face your mistakes and then forgive yourself.</strong> Yes, this is a very important step. You cannot find solutions when your mind is still in “blame” mode. <br/><br/></li>
<li><strong>Look for lessons learned.</strong> As you do this you will find you have taken another step towards becoming a better person. This can only have positive results for you and those around you. <br/><br/></li>
<li><strong>Start focusing </strong>on possible solutions.<br/><br/></li>
<li>If your error caused you to make a wrong turn in your life, deliberately spend extra time each day <strong>focusing on your life passion</strong> (your WHY). <br/><br/>As you do this, you will find you will see opportunities to get back onto the road that will lead you to your ultimate dreams and passion in life. It may not be the same road as you were on before, but it WILL lead you to your destination. <strong>Just stay focused! </strong></li>
</ul>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><img src = "http://kiwitx.com/freeoffear.JPG" alt = "Free of fear and doubt" class = "alignright"/>The greatest hindrances to your positive lifestyle and in achieving your life dreams are fear, doubt, procrastination and low self belief. </p>
<p>Actually all 4 of these hindrances can be summarized with word, and that word is fear. </p>
<p><strong>Let&#8217;s think about it for a second:</strong></p>
<p><strong>What creates doubt in your mind?</strong> Fear.<br />
Fear will make you doubt any decisions you make. Fear will make you doubt your ability to face a challenge and win or to carry out a task you have never done before. </p>
<p><strong>What causes you to procrastinate?</strong> Fear.<br />
You may fear that you may the wrong choice, so you delay taking action on your decision &#8220;just to make sure that the decision was the right one&#8221;. You may fear that that action you plan on taking may offend someone or cause a reaction you may fear facing. You get the picture right?</p>
<p><strong>What causes you to have low self-belief? </strong>Here is a question for you:<br />
Which matters more to you, what others think about you? Or what you have in your heart (your dreams and goals in life). </p>
<p>Yes, outside of God Himself, the only person who really knows what is in your heart is YOU. (And I DO highly recommend seeking God&#8217;s help and support in everything you do in life, and planting your faith first and foremost in Him and His Son). </p>
<p>The affirmation from the Lifestyle Freedom Club&#8217;s 210 Day Affirmation Challenge that we are looking at today is affirmation #136:</p>

<h3>I am free of fear, doubt, procrastination and low self-belief NOW</h3>
</div>
<p>(See the foot of this article for more details about this challenge). </p>
<p>This affirmation addresses all four of these negative hindrances, which we have already determined may actually be summed up in one word &#8211; FEAR. </p>
<p><strong>Today&#8217;s Challenge:</strong><br />
Take some time to reflect on your daily habits and ask yourself these questions: </p>
<ul>
<li>Is fear driving my life in any area?</li>
<li>How many of these four attitudes are affecting my life and in which areas?</li>
<li>What do I plan to do about it?</li>
</ul>
<p>Now take your journal, note or sheet of paper where you have written down today&#8217;s affirmation and declare it 5 times with a bold, strong voice. </p>
<p>Then declare it 7 times, in fact if you dare, continue to declare it until you sense a change in your present state. Do you feel bolder? More sure of yourself. </p>
<p>Good. Now take the action you wrote down in response to the question above: What do I plan to do about it?</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><img src="http://kiwitx.com/highlymotivated.JPG" alt="I am highly motivated to achieve my dreams" class="alignright"><strong><em>Are you highly motivated to achieve your dream?</em> </strong>This is the big question for you today! This is a very important question. Why? Because if you are not highly motivated in your life, then when obstacles cross your path, it will be too easy to give up. </p>
<p><strong>Here is another question for you:</strong> Do you know what MAKES you highly motivated? If you can answer this question, then it will be easy for you to stay motivated no matter what tries to discourage you on your journey. </p>
<p>Today we are looking at affirmation #123 of John Di Lemme&#8217;s  210 Day Lifestyle Freedom Club Affirmation Challenge that I am involved in and blogging about. (See note in &#8220;Resources&#8221; below for more information). </p>
<p>Affirmation #123 is a strong declaration: </p>

<h3>I am highly motivated to achieve my dreams.</h3>
</div>
<p>Do take time today to make this declaration several times as you add it to your collection of 123 affirmations. </p>
<p>Now, as with all affirmations, this is not just something that you will just repeat and repeat hoping that something magical will happen as a result of your words. That would be like planting a seed in the ground, not watering and nuturing it and then wondering why it never grew into a healthy plant. </p>
<p>Remember the complete &#8220;formula&#8221; for results and success in your life is:</p>
<div class = "topiccent">Positive words plus emotional response (passion) plus strategic action = successful results. </div>
<p>I checked out the word &#8220;motivation&#8221; in the dictionary to discover that the first definition it gave is:</p>
<div class = "topiccent">A reason or reasons for doing something.</div>
<p>Your motive for taking action is your REASON for doing something. What is the reason for pursing your dreams? You WHY. </p>
<p>Your why is the driving force of your live that will keep you going no matter what obstacle my cross your path. </p>
<p>Once you have discovered your why stay focused on your why every day. </p>
<p><strong>This is the driving force that will motivate you to pursue your dreams. </strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Your why will keep you moving forward even when everyone around you is telling you it is impossible.
</li>
<li>Your why will keep you going even when everything LOOKS impossible. In your heart you will KNOW it IS possible. </li>
</ul>
<blockquote><p>Walt Disney was an amazing testimony to this. There were times when no one believed in his dreams. Everyone was telling him it was totally impossible. Yet he never gave up. </p>
<p>You know the outcome of that story right? In fact you have probably visited Disney World, Disneyland or at least seen a Disney film. (One of the best books I have read about the life of Walt Disney is:  )</p></blockquote>

<li>Take a few moments to ask yourself &#8220;how highly motivated am I to achieve my dreams&#8221;?

<li>Make sure that your WHY is very clear in your life, and do take time today to refocus on your life purpose (your why). </li>
</ul>

Fear is your biggest enemy to your being able to make strong decisions. </p>
<p>In this series of articles entitled &#8220;Affirmation Challenge&#8221; we are following the <a href = "http://www.LifeStyleFreedomClub.com/cmd.php?af=1039353" title = "Lifestyle Freedom Club" target = "blank">210 Day Lifestyle Freedom Club Affirmation Challenge</a> that I am involved in and blogging about.  </p>
<p>Today we are looking at affirmation #112 which is:</p>

<p>In yesterday&#8217;s article <a href = "http://mindsetforliving.com/how-is-your-belief-today" title = "How Is Your Belief Today"  target = "blank">&#8220;How Is Your Belief Today?&#8221;</a> we looked at three main things about fear:</p>
<p><strong>1. Fear is a result of doubt. </strong><br />
One of the big keys to to becoming a champion decision maker is to learn to walk in faith. One great way to build your faith is to spend time every day day reading and listening to positive inspiring books and audios. </p>
<p>At least this is a great start. But if you are going to make what you are reading and listening to YOURS, you need to take ACTION on what you are learning. This is what will really build your faith (your positive actions). </p>
<p><strong>Solution to overcome doubt:</strong> Read and listen to inspiring, faith building material every day and take action on what you learn. </p>

<p><strong>2. Fear causes procrastination. </strong>When a decision or a task is difficult what do you usually do? Put it off til later right? </p>
<p>Why is a decision sometimes difficult to make? Because fear is stronger than faith in your mindset as you look at the possibilities of the situation you are trying to make a decision about. </p>
<p><strong>Solution:</strong> Make sure you are have a strong daily personal development program that is building your faith. </p>
<p><strong>3. Fear paralyzes.</strong> You cannot move forward and take the risks necessary to step and seize the opportunities that will lead to achieving your dreams when you are overcome with fear. </p>
<p><strong>Solution:</strong> Make sure that you are focused on speaking, thinking and action on positive words every day. </p>

<strong>Words ALONE</strong> will not give you the results you are hoping for.</p>

<li>First you decide you want to break out of your present place of stagnation, complacency or simply coping with life.

<li>You are building your faith to recognize that because you are diligent and faithful to move forward every day, one day what is in your hand to do WILL catapult your success. </li>
</ul>

<li>Stay diligent and consistent with your daily training and action plans.
</li>
<li>Stay alert for those opportunities that WILL catapult your success.
</li>
<li>Seize those opportunities, and enjoy the ride and the success they will take you to. </li>
