Fear Paralyzes – Faith Liberates

7th Army NCO Academy AFPTThere is nothing that paralyzes the mind more than fear and there is nothing that will free the mind like the assurance of faith which brings an incredible peace.

Fear can come so suddenly that it is like a bomb.

You can be driving down the road singing your favorite song on a beautiful sunny day. Everything in your world is perfect (or as close to perfect as this world can be :-)

Then suddenly a thought pops into your mind. It is one of those “what if” thoughts, you know, the “what if I don’t manage to make the sales I need in time to pay the mortgage” kind of thought. Instead of dismissing it immediately, for some reason you allow it to stay for a few moments.

Then WHAM! The fear bomb hits your stomach. Suddenly your perfect world disappears and your mind is paralyzed with fear. I am sure you have experienced something similar this during your life’s journey.

Fear paralyzes the mind so that you cannot think straight. The only thing you CAN think of when fear is dominating your mind are all of the worst case scenarios.

Now, if at the moment when that first thought dropped into your mind, you could have immediately crushed it with faith, the whole scene described above would have been SO different. In fact, your world would still be “perfect” right?

So just how CAN you have the reflexes needed to confront such moments with faith?

It all has to do with daily habits.

Daily habits form our mindsets.
If you want your body to stay healthy and able to confront and win over any virus attack what do you do? Of course, you feed it daily with healthy food as well as exercising and making sure you sleep well right?

In the same way, if you want your mind to stay strong and able to confront the enemy’s attacks of fear, doubts and other negative patterns you need to train it in the right way.

Your DAILY training plan will include:

  • Feeding your mind with good positive motivational and inspiration literature, audios and videos.
  • Associating with people who will inspire you to become a better person.
  • Staying away from conversations, movies, audios and books that would contaminate your positive mindset and your focus on success.

The more you train your body and feed it with the right food – the stronger you become.

The more you train your mind
and feed it with the right “food” – the strong your positive mindset will become and the easier it will be to meet life’s situations with faith.

What does your daily training plan look like?

You were born a champion
