Rip Off That Negative Label

I am ripping that negative label off of me NOWToday is Day 8 of following the 210 Day Lifestyle Freedom Club Affirmation Challenge. Today we have accumulated a total of 8 affirmations to declare.

Today we are adding an interesting declaration:

I am ripping the negative label off of me right now.

If you take a look at the image of my slide you will see that I added a “negative label” to the paper that is being torn off.

What is it? Down under loser.

Down Under

Yes if you come from the Southern Hemisphere you are labeled by the rest of the world as being from “down under”. (I am a kiwi, which means I am from New Zealand).

An Australian friend and I had a conversation about this one day. She mentioned that being labeled from “down under” automatically puts a stigma on us. So true. It creates a tendency to make you feel that you are not quite as good as those from “up there”.

You get the picture?
I am sure that you have some kind of label on your life also that needs to come off so you can be free to fly like the champion eagle that you were born to be.

Perhaps you were given a not very positive nickname in school. Or perhaps you were constantly told as a child, teenager or even as an adult that you would never make it at a certain task or career that you want to pursue.

Whatever the negative label you may have on your life, today is the day to tear it off. Then from now to the end of this challenge, (and hopefully beyond) you will be repeating this affirmation every day, along with the others.

I am ripping the negative label off of me right now.

Make sure you speak this one out with boldness and certainty. This label has to go NOW.

Champions don’t have negative labels, and if someone tries to put one on you do NOT accept it.

A recent experience:
I went through a period when it seemed like every day I would drop something and break it. It did not take me long to get a “negative label” from my coworkers.

One morning something almost fell from my tray and a quick response came from one of my team: “There you go, already” (or something similar).

I replied immediately: I am not listening to any negative words and I don’t receive that label.

She was shocked and later apologized and said she was only joking. I explained that the negative words would only be a hindrance to me joking or not. She understood, and that was the end of that. This problem has also greatly improved!

Do not allow ANYONE to place a negative label on you, jokingly or not. Rip it off as you confidently declare:

I am ripping the negative label off of me right now.

No negative words belong in your life because:

You were born a champion
