Day 5 | Positive Mindset For Positive Living

Words And Your Health

I am getting Healthier by the secondToday is Day 5 of following the 210 Day Lifestyle Freedom Club Affirmation Challenge which means we have 5 affirmations to declare.

Today we are adding the following affirmation:

I am getting healthier by the second.

This declaration may well raise some questions in your mind.

  • Is health a choice?
  • Do my words really affect my health?
  • How much control do I REALLY have over my state of health?

A little background from me:
After suffering a car accident in Mexico 5 years ago, I began to take a great interest in all of the documentaries, discussions and videos I could find about the brain.

I had already been teaching on many areas of motivation during the 25 years in Mexico. A study on imaginations in the Bible plus the book of Proverbs had opened my eyes to many truths about the power of positive and negative words and thoughts.

Now what I was learning from these scientific programs of discussions with researchers, doctors and scientists was deepening my understanding of these topics.

Discovery
All of the researchers and scientists I have listened closely to are in agreement concerning a few simple facts:

  • There IS a definite relationship between the state of our imaginations and the state of our health. This includes our ability to recover from illness. (See resource below – Getting Well Again).

  • Strong negative words and imagery DO contribute to provoking illness.

  • Strong POSITIVE words and imagery DO contribute to staying well and getting well.

Dr Caroline Leaf, author of “Who Switched Off My Brain?” shows how negative thoughts actually send toxic chemicals to various parts of the body. Positive thoughts send non toxic chemicals which will support a normal healthy body. Incredible right?

Conclusion:
Can positive affirmations actually contribute to improving and maintaining your body in health?

The answer is a resounding YES!

So take today’s affirmation:

I am getting healthier by the second.

and declare it with STRONG CONFIDENCE.

Your brain will respond by sending out positive chemicals to your body.

And remember:

Words plus ACTION = results.

What does this mean to you?
You can’t expect good results if you are affirming “I am getting healthier by the second” with a coke or cake in your hand. (You get the picture right?)

So speak words of health PLUS eat right – exercise right – sleep right – dream right – act right and you WILL get healthier by the second.

And always remember:

You were born a champion

Today is Day 5 / Tomorrow is: Day 6 Driving Out Indecision
