Faithful Dreamer

I am a faithful dreamerJust what IS a faithful dreamer? In this article we are going to look at the two main types of dreamers.

One of these has a great chance of achieving his dreams while the other will surely end up with great disappointments and discouragements. More than likely this latter dreamer will also become very bitter and cynical.

Today is Day 2 of following the 210 Day Lifestyle Freedom Club Affirmation Challenge.

Today we are making 2 declarations. We repeat the affirmation from yesterday, and add one more:

I am a faithful dreamer.

And no, this does not mean “day dreamer”. So what IS the difference?

You can tell them apart by their words!

A DAY dreamer will say something like this:

  • One day when my ship comes in I will ………
  • It must be nice (in response to you informing them you are leaving for Hawaii next week).
  • Well IF I can every get out of here, I will ……

Ever heard any of those kinds of statements? How many years have those folks been talking like that? Have there been any positive, ground breaking changes in their lives in the last year or so?

A WHY dreamer will say something like this:

  • I am planning on doing this in about 12 months.
  • Today I completed one more step bringing me closer to my goal.
  • This is where I will be within 2-5 years. I KNOW I will because today I am training, planning AND acting on steps that will take me there.

A why dreamer may have huge dreams, the bigger the better. You have a right to dream and to achieve your dreams!

So let’s affirm this today:

I am a faithful dreamer.

Action Step: Start or add to your dream board.

I also am creating a Powerpoint presentation which I am planning on turning into a movie for my media player. My brain does not work as well when all the pictures and words are together.

I find that it responds so much better when I see one thing at a time. I add to it most every day, then watch the complete presentation, speaking out every word that is written on the slides.

You have a right to dream because:

You were born a champion

    Wow!
What a way to change our negative programming!
Repeating an affirmation every day and adding a new one every day.

I’m currently using your idea for a motivational video. I found some fantastic nature sound recording to go with mine.

What can I do to support you?
    Tish

@Tish the Change Thinking Habits Coach – Hi Tish – thanks so much for your comment and offer of support.

    Your project sounds super too!

I got started with John Di Lemme’s 210 Affirmation Challenge (link at bottom of each article – one you get to his site, the affirmation challenge link is at the top of the page). I am actually on Day 66 today.

A couple of weeks ago I started preparing myself this group of slides, then after 53 slides (1/4 of the way) I created a “trial video” with my own voice repeating the affirmations as each slide shows.

I love your idea of the nature sound recording in the background!

These are great for visual people! I do plan on creating an introduction page that will encourage others to create their own slides with photos that are meaningful to them.

Please do keep in touch. Thanks so much!

There is a commercial product for making the movies.

In their instructions they say to have about 30 text/affirmation slides and about 80 to 100 picture slides. They est that will give you about a 3 min video.

Flickr creative commons is great place for pictures. Just search term or feeling or what you think would have meaning for you.

When I found your site I kind of thought here is a person who seems to think like I do. Yes I intend to stay in touch

  6. Jill Says:

@Tish the Change Thinking Habits Coach – Yes I am familiar with that product – created by an Australian.

Most of my pictures come from Flickr or from my own camera.

I have 70 slides lined up so far.

Thanks so much for your support Trish
